Field note

Ratio talk is a print habit. Digital mints still need a number.

Shop language loves ratios. A 1:25 incentive cover in print means something concrete at wholesale. A Marvel-themed NFT cover that minted 750 copies is not a 1:25 unless someone published that incentive math, which they usually have not.

When Service Path Hub writes a scarcity paragraph, the first numeral is the mint. Serials the collector holds come second. Chat-group “feels rare” comes nowhere. If a collector still wants ratio slang in a nickname column, we park it there and keep the official mint in the sentence that matters.

This habit also stops a foil reissue from inheriting the original drop’s folklore. New mint, new paragraph.
